2. Vision Board Workshop
Enhance your wellness this January by joining the Edson Community Development team for Winter Wellness Wednesdays – a series of weekly activities catered to adults to promote connection, creativity and exercise.
Envision your best 2025 with the January 15 Wellness Wednesday session dedicated to creating vision boards! Bring your goals and dreams to life as you craft a personalized vision board that inspires and motivates you. Supplies are provided, but feel free to bring along any motivational materials and make your 2025 the best year yet!

3. Youth Interagency Line Dancing
Youth ages 11-17 - Kick off the new year with some fun and energy at Youth Interagency's Line Dancing Class on January 15. Learn some cool moves, groove to great music, and have a blast with friends. No experience is needed—just bring your enthusiasm!

4. World LEGO Day
Celebrate World LEGO Day (January 28) with an exciting challenge—build your own LEGO version of Eddie the Squirrel, the Town of Edson's mascot, for a chance to win a great prize!
To enter, take a clear photo of your creation and email it to communications@edson.ca with your name, age and phone number for contact purposes. The submission deadline is January 17, so be sure to have your entries in before then. Voting will take place from January 20-27 on the Town of Edson's Facebook page, and the entry with the most likes will win a prize.

5. Sabres Excel U-13 1 hockey tournament
Head down to the Edson & District Leisure Centre on January 18 to cheer on the Sabres Excel U-13 1 hockey team as they take to the ice in an exciting and fast-paced tournament. Be sure to check out the raffle tables in support of the team.

6. Women's Fitness Conference
Ladies! Discover your new favourite ways to stay active this year at the Women’s Fitness Conference on January 18. 9. Wellness Wednesdays - Jeopardy

10. Robbie Burns Night
The Edson Masonic Lodge invites you to their annual Robbie Burns Night on January 25 to celebrate the renowned poet and all things Scottish. Enjoy a special Scottish menu with haggis, catered by Shekinah Coffee, and live music featuring the Edson Pipes and Drums Band.
