3. Wildwood Family Halloween Dance
Put on your dancing shoes and join Yellowhead County FCSS on October 25 for a fun (and family-friendly) Halloween Dance in Wildwood that promises to be a delightful evening for all ages! Come dressed in your favorite costume or Halloween attire and enjoy a spooktacular night filled with music by DJ Taz. There will be prizes, delicious pizza, and treats galore!

4. EARS' Haunted Forest
The Edson Animal Rescue Society's (EARS) annual Haunted Forest Fundraiser is back for another year of screams and scares!
But don’t fret, there’s fun for the whole family too. On October 24, join EARS for ‘Little Goblin Glow in the Dark’ night, in which glow sticks will illuminate your path through the spooky forest with no active scares. Additionally, from 6-7 PM on October 25 and 26, the "Scaredy Cat Hour" offers a laidback experience without the scares, perfect for those with younger children.
But for thrill-seekers, the real scares happen between 7 and 9 PM. Prepare yourself for a chilling adventure as you navigate the haunted forest past ghouls, goblins and live actors who will send shivers down your spine. You never know what may be lurking in the dark!
Beyond the scares, there’s even more to experience! Enjoy kids’ games, a bake sale, campfires, outdoor movies, popcorn, and more surprises!
A minimum donation of $2 per person is requested, with all proceeds supporting the Edson Animal Rescue Society’s efforts to rescue and rehome animals in need.

5. Halloween PD Day
Attention students ages 6 and up - get ready for a fun-filled day of Halloween-themed crafts and activities at Edson Tumblers Gymnastics, Elevation Studio and the Galloway Station Museum on October 25 for PD Day!
At the Galloway Station Museum, staff will lead participants on a captivating cemetery tour at Glenwood Cemetery, which will also include a scavenger hunt, grave rubbings and more!
Please ensure your child brings a bagged lunch and water, and dress them in activewear. Don’t forget to pack a coat, as we’ll be spending some time outdoors.
